Another album of the 1001 that I have listened to a zillion times and absolutely love. To say this album was huge is a massive understatement. Every track on the album could have been a hit single, and in fact 7 of the 12 tracks were released as radio singles, 4 reaching top 10 status and 1 reaching #1 on the charts. The album has sold 20 million copies worldwide and reached #1 on the billboard 200, where it remained on the charts for 96 weeks.
The reason for the albums mass appeal and popularity is that it is a very well polished and produced rock album. It is solid all the way around. The music and lyrics are perfect rock songs. Everything just clicks, and kicks, on this album. 5/5
