Bobby Womack is not only a pretty prolific musician who had had quite a bit of success for himself he was also a pretty prolific songwriter who wrote some hit songs for other artists. This album was a pretty solid R&B/Funk album, which I am always fond of. He reminded me of artists like Al Green and Marvin Gaye. And he can play some guitar!"Lay Your Lovin' on Me"
