A instrumental R&B/Funk band it is named after the founder of the band and their producers car, which was an MG. The album was a combination of original songs plus covers of other people songs minus the singing. It was a pretty decent album, I like R&B/Funk, but like other instrumental albums, it just got old after a few songs. BTW the band has the distinction of being one of the first racially integrated bands, with both black and white members.
"Green Onions" - pretty sure most people have heard this song, although I had no idea what it was called before now
