#842 Daft Punk - Homework

Daft Punk have been around since 1993, but have only released 4 albums during that time. I don't necessarily believe that an artist has to pump out an album every year to be relevant but fans definitely like to see an new album more often than about every 5 or so years. Especially in today's music environment, when you obtain popularity, to stay on top of it you have to be somewhat prolific in your production. With in the next couple years I predict that artists will move away from producing full albums and focus on singles, releasing them more frequently to stay in the public eye and on top of the streaming charts.

As for the album it was pretty good, for an electronic album, and scored the band their first huge hit.
