I haven't been a Sheryl Crow fan in the past. She has had a lot of hit songs but they just aren't my style of music. This is an example of an album that is much better as a whole instead of individual hit singles. It's not that the songs as a whole tell a continuous story, or that she was trying to make a concept type album, but the songs just work well together.
BTW the album has sold 4.5 million copies, not to shabby.
