#698 My Bloody Valentine - Loveless

I remember listening to a My Bloody Valentine album a few weeks ago and being introduced to the genre of "shoegazing". It is so frustrating to listen to. You can hear that someone is singing but the vocals are so muted and obscured that you have to strain to try and hear them and it is near impossible to make out the lyrics. It truly makes you feel like you are going deaf, and it doesn't help to crank the stereo volume either cause then the music is that much louder and the vocals are still muted. To top it all off a lot of the music sounds like it is warped or out of tune.

'When You Sleep" - perfect example of how it sounds warped
