This is a fine, fine example of 80's new wave, a genre that I really like. For unknown reasons I had never listened to the band prior to now, which is too bad cause I really liked this album and it is definitely staying in my music library.Interesting fact #1 - the band name comes from them naming their drum machine "Echo" and for some reason deciding to call the members "The Bunnymen"
Interesting fact #2 one of the original members, before they actually became The Bunnymen and released any music, Julian Cope, left the band to form the band The Teardrop Explodes, of which i have previously reviewed an album. This album is so much better.
