This album was so depressing. The songs kind of plodded along slowly and the lyrics were a real downer. That doesn't mean it was a terrible album, it was just hard to swallow it a large chunk. Even the song names are indicitive of the albums depressing nature, "I See a Darkness", "Another Day Full of Dread", "Today I Was an Evil One" and "Black" to name a few.BTW Bonnie 'Prince' Billy is the stage name for Will Oldham. Not sure how he came up with the name.
