So Drive Like Jehu is in the genre of "Math Rock" which I have never heard of before. Basically the genre uses different time signatures that "normal" music, or the songs feature changing meters through out the song. The Band will also use starting and stopping through-out the song. All of this leads to more of a chaotic or broken up sound. I found it made the songs a bit hard to listen to when you are use to conventional methods of song construction. As for the album I thought it was good enough to give it a listen, but the songs were different due to the different time signatures."Super Unison"
