For a girl born and raised in Edmonton Alberta, K.D. Lang has had a lot of success as a country singer. She has been nominated for a number of Grammy awards and has won 4 times. Surprisingly enough, however, she has charted much better in countries other than Canada, and has had very little success in the USA. It is just so dang hard for Canadian artists to make it big there. Her most successful song, and really the only one I've ever heard, Constant Craving, is actually on the album released after this one. Overall it was a pretty good traditional country album. She definitely has a great voice."I'm Down to my Last Cigarette"
