Back when I was about 12 or 13 I had an uncle who, at the time I thought was really awesome. We would hang out a lot when I would go to Toronto for the summer. He had a huge Ghetto Blaster, just like the one on this album cover, and we would hang outside of my grandparents house and listen to exactly this type of music. I loved it. We would listen to all this old school hip hop and break dancing music. I thought it was the greatest time ever. I don't know if we listened to this album but it defines the type of hip hop that I like. The old school beats and record scratching, It is just so awesome."The Message"
